I am a fifth year social psychology student at New York University working primarily with Tessa West and John Jost, and will be starting as an Assistant Professor of Psychology at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in the Fall of 2016.
My research broadly examines how people's goals, motivations, and expectations shape the way they perceive and interact with others. For example, how do the motivations of liberals and conservatives influence their perceptions of the social world, and do these perceptions have implications for large-scale political outcomes?
